My Story

Health has always been a big part of my life, both personally and professionally. I grew up in Sicily, surrounded by the comforting warmth of my grandparents’ artisan bakery and a home filled with animals. From a young age, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and even pigs. They taught me so much—about compassion, empathy, and the deep connection we share with all living beings. The animals gave me a sense of responsibility and an understanding of the importance of caring for ourselves and others.
I was also lucky enough to grow up with fresh, vibrant fruit and vegetables straight from our garden, which played a big role in shaping my understanding of food as both nourishment and medicine. Alongside all of this, I’ve always had a deep love for art. I went on to study at an art school, where I nurtured my creativity. That passion for creativity has followed me into the kitchen, where cooking has always felt like an art form. I love making meals that not only nourish the body but also feed the soul.
My interest in nutrition began in my childhood, and at 13, driven by my love for animals, I decided to become a vegetarian. By 2015, I transitioned to veganism. But it wasn’t until the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, when I found myself with more time to dive into my passions, that I truly started to explore how nutrition, psychology, and neuroscience are all intertwined. I came to realise that health isn’t just about what we eat—it’s about how we think, how we feel, and how we look after ourselves as a whole.
This led me to discover functional medicine, where I immersed myself in the work of inspiring doctors like Dr Neal Barnard, gastroenterologists Dr Will Bulsiewicz, Dr Michael Greger, neurologists Drs. Ayesha & Dean Sherzai, health psychologist Kelly McGonigal, neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart, obstetrician/gynaecologist and integrative MD Felice L. Gersh, evolutionary psychologist Dr Douglas J. Lisle, and water fasting expert Dr Alan Goldhamer. Their teachings completely shifted my approach to health, especially as a woman living with PCOS and endometriosis and having dealt with childhood trauma, depression, and anxiety. Through their work, I came to understand how interconnected our physical, emotional, and mental health truly are—and how healing all these areas together can lead to a lasting sense of well-being.
Once I figured out how to bring balance and healing into my own life, I knew I wanted to help others do the same. What started as offering support to family and friends soon turned into a calling, and in 2023, I began my training as a Holistic Health Coach. By May 2024, I was fully certified, and in November 2024, I proudly launched Vhealing, a practice dedicated to helping others restore balance and thrive.
I’m always looking to learn more, and now I’m focusing on Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine to offer an even more holistic approach to my clients’ care. At Vhealing, I aim to support you in taking control of your health by nurturing your body, mind, and spirit. It’s all about finding your unique path to a vibrant, balanced life—and I’m here to help you walk that path.

These sessions can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on your preference and needs. I typically recommend fortnightly sessions to ensure consistent progress and accountability while allowing time to implement changes in between.
